"The Corvette Doctor say's". To achieve the best fit for reproduction moldings use our molding retainers and screws. They have been designed to hold your moldings in a tight, secure, application. The height of some of these retainers determine where the molding sits in relationship to the windshield and the body of your Corvette. That is usually why you sometimes see Corvettes with large gaps under the moldings and between the molding and the paint. Your moldings should fit relatively tight to the windshield and the painted body of your Corvette.
