Dr. Corvette says: These seats are the best in the industry. They are reproductions of the original seats that came in your Corvette from the GM Factory. 1976 discontinued the Basketweave and Comfortweave inserts and went to options like vinyl or leather.
Dr. Corvette says: if you want your seats to look like new and last a lot longer then you should replace the seat foam as well.That will help create that new car smell as old seat foam retains old odors and also causes wrinkles in new covers. The old foam collapses in size and density over the years of use and therefore won't fill the seat cover void.
